BlastZone 2 is an action packed 3D side scrolling arcade shooter(shmup/space shooter) with fast paced cinematic combat, super weapons, and big bosses!** Play All 6 Game Modes *** Mission Mode - A 35 minute long, 8 mission cinematic experience with hundreds of unique hand animated enemies and big bosses. Includes unique 3D gameplay mechanics and a 2nd person shooter area!* BlastZone 1 - Recreation of the original TI-85 game; a simple “defend the base” style game* Classic A Mode - A greatly enhanced version of BlastZone 1; a “defend the base” style game with beam weapons and a points chain system. Destroy all enemies before they pass your ship or it is game over.* Classic B Mode - Similar to Classic A, but with a points pool system; every action either adds to or subtracts from the points value and the player needs to stop the game at the right point to get a high score. I liked everything but the ships movement. It's way too slow, particularly when the enemies are extremely fast. This discrepancy means I am constantly dying because I am colliding with streaking enemy ships and I can't get out of the way! I'm done with BlastZone, an extremely promising but unplayable game, at least on my phone with touch screen controls.
Strange: the game looks great but touch controls don't work. I can't even start a game, as the only text I see says: "Press Fire I" or something like that. No matter how many times I touch the screen, it doesn't work at all. Do I need a physical controller?. Edit: That's great. Thanks for your answer. However, I'll have to wait for another sale, since bought it when it was on sale but had to refund it when noticed I wan't able to play. Best of luck, anyway. Edit2: Changed my rating to 5. Thanks.
I like this game but it need one more tweak is the bosses own special abilities on each level to make it more interesting!!

Graphics remind me of the flying shooter games when super nintendo was king. I play this game daily during my commute to work. Great!
Game had a few small glitches at first. Developer responded promptly and has worked with me over a few weeks to iron out the issues. Since the game has been dramatically improved. Worth every penny. Awesome customer service. One of the best multiplayer games out for android. Please rate for this nice guy. Runs perfect on transformer prime and motorola photon.
